Dolce and Gabbana first met in Milan in 1980, while working as assistants and started their design business together in 1982. In 1985 they had their first break into the fashion scene and just one year later they presented their first independent female ready to wear collection that won international acclaim. Dolce and Gabbana had such metioric success that they were soon able to expand into knitwear, lingerie and accessories, menswear and a line of signature fragrances. Dolce and Gabbana launched their first fragrance in 1992 followed by some of the most wearable female fragrances with a sleek, sensual and sophisticated edge including Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Dolce and Gabbana Feminine, Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme and more recently Dolce and Gabbana The One and Rose The One.
